The Featured Image is a Hyacinth because I can't wait for spring flowers. The camera is the Olympus E-3, the lens is the Sigma 150 f:2.8 macro. The camera and lens are mounted on a Proxxon Micro Compound Table KT-70, the micro table allows 1mm per handle rotation movement. The flower is held by a Samona Magnetic base with a small plastic clamp. The lighting is provided by 2 9 volt mini floods, 6500k in 2 goose neck lamps from Canadian Tire, mounted on each side of the holding clamp.
I took 10 shots at .5mm increments, ISO200,F8,1/250 manual focus. The stack was aligned and processed in Zerene Stacker setting (P). Resulti
